Come along with one of our experts and learn all the essentials you need to know about four wheel driving, we offer everything from beginners training on the beach and how to maneuver through the boggy sand and tidal patterns to everything you need when climbing up and down a rocking hill in the bush.

Sandy Session 4WD Training
Trip overview
The day will consist of driving along the beautiful White Hills Beach. This tour is fantastic for beginners and those needing a bit of a refresher. We will go through the basics like tyre pressures, recovery gear and how to tackle different terrains. This is a perfect opportunity to try out your skills in a controlled environment. Bottled water will be provided on the day however we recommend bringing morning tea and lunch. If you have your own Recovery gear bring it along to get a better understanding of your own gear. If you do not have recovery gear that’s not a problem, we have a kit for use on the day. It should consist of 5ish hrs.
What’s included?
Morning
Meeting at the Ampol in Dawesville at 0830hrs for a 0900hrs depart. it’s a short 5 minute drive to White Hills Beach. Where we will go over the basics of airing down. Then we will get stuck into it along the beach. Teaching different driving skills and recoveries along the lovely coast. Stopping for lunch and maybe a swim along the way.
Afternoon
After lunch it’s a short drive to Preston Beach, where we will leave it in your hands to set and recover your own vehicle, pick your tyre pressures and make your own way off the beach to air up.

- Rocky and uneven driving paths to challenge your off road driving skills
What we provide
- All recovery gear
- Communication (CB radio/handheld)
With our knowledge we will keep you safe and provide an experience to remember. We have a fully stocked wilderness first aid kit along with our wilderness first aid training staff. A means to communicate when there is absolutely no signal, and a basic bush mechanics and tool kit, if anything else goes wrong. And of course our staff are well knowledgeable about multiple safe self recovery and multi car techniques.
Beginners Bush Bash 4WD Training
Trip overview
The day will consist of driving amongst the Mundaring state forrest. This tour is fantastic for beginners and those needing a bit of a refresher. We will go through the basics like tyre pressures, recovery gear and how to tackle different terrains. This is a perfect opportunity to try out your skills in a controlled environment. Bottled water will be provided on the day however we recommend bringing morning tea and lunch. If you have your own Recovery gear bring it along to get a better understanding of your own gear. If you do not have recovery gear that’s not a problem, we have a kit for use on the day. The day should consist of 4-5hrs.

Morning
Meeting at the BP in Sawyers Valley at 0800hrs for a 0820hrs depart (we will go over Prestart and gear checks). It’s a short 5 minute drive to the start of the Mundaring powerlines. Where we will go over the basics of airing down. Then we will get stuck into it along the powerlines and other tracks. Teaching different driving skills and recoveries along the tracks, as we tackle different terrain.
