Experience the beautiful Swan River as we take on this stunning waterway which winds its way from the Darling Scarp all the way to Fremantle. This natural attraction is one of the most popular locations for Perth locals and visitors to enjoy on a day out. On one of our tours is a lovely 6km paddle up the Swan River, taking time to admire the natural beauty and unique flora and fauna of this special, serene river. Then, bird watching and enjoying a spot of morning tea on the riverbank. After, get ready to board the OUT AND ABOUT WINE TOUR bus to finish your afternoon off with 2 wineries and a brewery tasting, lunch and chocolate tasting.

Self-guided Tour
Overview
Explore the tranquillity and beauty of the Swan River on a self-guided Paddle ‘n’ Pic tour. Operating daily, leisurely paddling around the Swan River at your own pace, exploring the lesser seen section.
You can choose to meet at the finish and we will take you to the start of your paddle. We have options to pick from including Kuljak Island also known as Black Swan Island, Garvey Park, Black wall Reach or for the more experienced paddlers at Amiens for a 6km moving water journey through the Ti Trees. We will meet you at one of these spots with all the gear that you need and a little packed picnic to enjoy along the river somewhere. Typically these will take around 3hrs but you can go at your own pace and we will meet you to pick up all the borrowed gear. So you don’t need to worry about any logistics.

Our Self-guided sessions operate daily, and are typically 3 hours long.

And of course our staff are well knowledgeable about multiple safe self recovery and multi car techniques.
Raft Building Canoeing Adventure
Overview
Teams compete to design, construct, and then paddle their craft across the river using only plastic barrels, wood, and rope. Sore sides from laughing are a strong possibility. This is a great way to get your club or work place to build stronger conecctions and strengthen their team and build on team work.
We can hire out a trailer with enough gear to cater for groups up to 24, that’s 3 rafts of 8 people.

Please note: there is also a $100 drop off and pick up fee each way with in the Perth metro area.
If you want us to run the Raft Building Adventure option, our fee is $350 a day.

Let’s Roll Canoeing Adventure
Overview
With winter fast approaching, what better way to up your skill with learning to roll, with the well accomplished white water kayaker Kieran Simpson. No matter if you are the experienced kayaker that just needs to work on bomb proofing your roll, or a beginner that wants to learn white water but isn’t the most confident person. I can cater for anyone with any need.
What’s included?
Canoeing session
Sessions are an hour long. Typically at Ascot Kayak Club beach, with the choice of bringing your own craft or borrowing a kayak. I guarantee that you will have at least one roll under your belt by the end of the session.

For those with some experience, we have tours that explore more scenic waterways with minimal difficulty.
What kind of canoes do you use on your tours?
We utilize stable and comfortable canoes that are well-suited for our various tours. These canoes are typically double kayaks for tandem paddling. Our experienced guides will help you choose the right canoe for your comfort level and the specific tour you join.
What should I wear on a canoeing tour?
Dress for comfort and weather conditions! We recommend wearing clothes that can get wet, such as swimwear, quick-drying shorts and shirts, or lightweight waterproof pants. Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are also essential. For cooler weather, consider layering with thermals or a wetsuit. We’ll provide additional recommendations and a detailed packing list upon booking your chosen canoeing tour.
