River to Range 4WD Tour
Trip overview
Dates:
2nd – 9th October
Starting in Carnarvon, we will head out to the Kennedy Ranges. But taking the road less traveled, that will take us across the Gascoyne River, and to see some truly amazing sights. Then heading around and back down to Kennedy ranges. Potential for a small walk of the ranges. After that we will make our way to Mount Augustus for the last night of camp. This will give us a day incase we run into any dramas.
What’s included?
Day 1
Meeting at the Carnarvon BP for 0830hrs, so we can leave at 0900hrs. From there we will head out to the Gascoyne river. Air down and cross the river finding camp by some spectacular cliffs.
Day 2
Not too early to leave around 0830hrs we will continue to follow the ridge line around to the back of the National park and across to make camp by one of the abandoned ruins.
Day 3
Up and ready around 0830hrs we will continue making our way to the main campsite at the Kennedy ranges. Hoping to get in at a reasonable time, so we can clb the ranges. Tonight we will provide a lovely cooled meal by the communal fireplace, Over some beers.
Day 4
We shall make our way to the biggest Moni rock in Australia, Mount Augustus. Hopefully stopping ata few places along the way. This night will conclude the end of the tour. But feel free the next day to climb and veg out around Mount Augustus.
Spare Day
Day 5 is a spare day up our sleeve if we don’t make camp or get behind. Rain depending we might not be able to cross the Gascoyne River so we might have to make a detour.

Gravel roads, dirt tracks, sand tracks, rocks, Murchison river crossing and some very rough corrugated roads.
What should I bring?
- A road legal 4WD
- Communication (CB radio/handheld)
- Food for 5 days (breaky x4, lunch x5, dinner x4 enough for three plus snacks)
- 40L drinking water plus cooking, cleaning, optional shower water
- 800km fuel range and a spare jerry can (can drive into Gascoyne Junction morning of the 4th day to refuel. Extra few hours and kms)
- Sleeping gear, chair and anything else to make a comfy camp

Connie 4WD Tour
Trip overview

27th April – 3rd May
Traversing the beautiful, rugged desert land of Central Australia the Connie Sue Highway runs from the remote Aboriginal Community of Warburton down the Rawlinna, an old town on the Trans-Australia railway. The length is 650km plus another 150km from Rawlinna to Cocklebiddy.
After Cocklebiddy there is the option to spend the night on the Old Coach-Telegraph Road. What is 200km of natural reserve from Balladonia to Norsman. Another style of desert with more trees and a lot less traveled road too.
What’s included?
Day to day
The first morning is going to be the biggest day as we will meet early and commit to a 8hr drive to Warburton and then camp on the first 20km of the Connie Sue. Then the other days we will aim for 0830 on road and 1500hrs to look for camp. There are some beautiful spots on the track to stop and have lunch. We will spend the last night on the track at Rawlinna. We will stop to refuel and get some of those loved servo snacks at Cocklbiddy, then spend the night halfway along the Old Coach-Telegraph Road. Before saying farewells at Norsman.

- 850km+ fuel range and a spare jerry can (can fill up either end of track, Laverton/Cocklebiddy)
- Food for 8 days (breaky x7, lunch x8 and dinner x7 enough for occupant of vehicle plus snacks)
- 40L drinking water plus cooking/cleaning, optional shower water
- Sleeping gear, chair and anything else to make a comfy campy

Holland Track 4WD Tour
Trip overview

7th – 9th May
Western Off Roading Mates trip to the Holland track. Meet lunch time and convoy to the start of the Holland track ready for the weekend. Spend 2 days doing the 350km track finishing at Burra Rock on Sunday night. This gives the option for people to drive home Sunday night or spend one more night under the stars and drive back Monday.
What’s included?
Day 1
Meeting at the Lakes Roadhouse at 1200hrs for check in and meet, ready to leave at 1230hrs to 1300hrs. It’s just over 3 hours to Hyden where I have 2 spots for potential camp depending on numbers.
Day 2
Not too early to leave around 0900hrs we will start at the iconic Holland Track, taking it easy, seeing some sights and hitting some bog holes (if you wish). Hopefully making half way for a campsite or stop by 1530hrs 1600hrs.
Day 3
Up and ready around 0830hrs we will continue making our way to the end of the Track, and taking in some amazing views for some great looking rocks. And again making camp at 1500hrs so it gives people time to head back to Perth if needed. Or spend one last last night surrounded in the bush before we make out way back on Monday.

South West Wonderland 4WD Tour
Trip overview
Meeting in Pemberton the plan is to make our way along the spectacular coastline as much as possible to Walpole. Along the way there will be beach driving, river crossing and a chance to climb one of the biggest sand dune in W.A. To finish it off we will chill by Broke inlet.
What’s included?
Day 1
Meeting at the Augusta bakery at 0830hrs for a 0900hrs departure. We will then make our way along the beach /cliffs to Lake Jasper checking out the area. Continuing on to find a nice camp for the first night. Or stop driving by around 1530-1600hrs.
Day 2
Not too early leave around 0900hrs we will continue and test our skills on the notorious Callcup Hill then head down and through the Warren River. Stopping at Northcliff to re-fuel and then back down to hit the track. Making our way to Gardener Beach for the next nights camp.
Day 3
Up and ready round 0830hrs we will continue making our way to brooke inlet depending if the track is open, if so we’ll stop and have lunch. Then finishing up by abseiling on the lovely Mount Franklin. Departing by 1600hrs.

Israelite Bay 4WD Tour
Trip overview

4th – 12th July
2nd – 10th Dec
Experience the real remoteness of WA. On one side is the vast ocean and on the other is some of the most remote parts of Australia. See some spectacular sites like the old ruins of the telegraph station, and the largest sand dunes out there: the Bilbunya dunes. There is also the start of the Great Australian Bight and the magical Twilight Cove. And finally, to wrap up, we will stop by the Eyre Bird Observatory that is still in use today.
What’s included?
Day to day
Meeting at Condingup at 0800 hrs for a 0830 hrs leave. We will b eheading towards Mt Ragged. It’s a 3km walk to the top for those that wish to climb it. Then we will head to the historic old telegraph station to explore. Then for the first night’s camp at Isrealite Bay, aiming to leave camp by 0830 hrs each day and set up by 1530-1600 hrs each night. This is where the next 5 days are a little more chilled, as we will head up to Bilbunya dunes to spend 2 nights, to unwind and explore the dunes, and check out the start of the Great Australian Bight (Point Calver). Then it is along the top of the scarp and visiting a handful of spectacular spots and a bush camp, to emerge into the magical twilight cove where we will spend the last 2 nights camping. We can take a detour to the Eyre Bird Observatory or relax and swim and sink a line. The tour will end up at Cocklebiddy where we can refuel and head back west. There is a spare day up our hand if we want to take an extra day or anything happens.
